Play Ledger ("the App") is operated by Colton Holmes. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account information. When you create an account we store your email address, a display name you choose, and an optional profile photo URL. We use Supabase Authentication, which also stores a hashed password and session tokens.
Game collection data. Games you add (titles, metadata, ratings, notes), play sessions you log (dates, scores, players, duration), and player names you create are stored in a local SQLite database on your device and synced to our cloud database (hosted on Supabase) when you are online.
BoardGameGeek data. If you search for or import games, we send queries to the BoardGameGeek API through a server-side proxy. We do not share your personal data with BoardGameGeek.
Device information. We do not currently collect device identifiers, analytics, or crash reports. When we enable crash reporting, we will collect anonymous crash data. This policy will be updated before that happens.
Your data is used solely to provide the App's features. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Account and sync data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS). Local data is stored in an encrypted SQLite database on your device. Authentication tokens use Expo SecureStore. All network communication uses HTTPS.
You can delete individual games, play sessions, and players within the App. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at coltonholmes89@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing coltonholmes89@gmail.com.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.

By using Play Ledger ("the App"), you agree to these terms.
Play Ledger is a personal board game collection and play tracking tool. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process this data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
You agree not to use the App to store or transmit illegal content, attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the service, create multiple accounts for abusive purposes, or use automated tools to scrape or overload the service.
We aim to keep the App available and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime or zero data loss. The App stores data locally on your device first, which provides resilience against server outages.
Game metadata is sourced from BoardGameGeek and remains the property of their respective owners.
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App.
